Locally sourced, ecological Fresh Mint given zest and energy with Mexican Limes.
El Flâneur is the gin for urban poets and city wanderers. Inspired by Baudelaire, Mike Crook chose aromatic mint freshness to awaken the mind, and lime zest will make it run with inspiration.
The observant, poetic eyes of El Flâneur are energised by the perfect alchemic combination of mint and lime filling the nose and palate with a beguiling herbal aroma.
Fresh and green, simple but sophisticated: El Flâneur .
Step 1: Serve a measure of El Flâneur
Step 2: Place a lime or orange slice in the gin for one minute
* Optional Step 3: Add Angostura bitters for extra character
Step 3: Add ice
Step 4: Gently pour the tonic into the glass
Clean-cut, fresh and aromatic mint brightened up with a light lime zest is an all-year classic which uplifts in the winter, refreshes in the summer.
Mike Crook recommends El Flâneur as a gin replacement for rum in the traditional Cuban highball, the Mojito. Not only does this classic cocktail get an even richer mint taste, but the fresh Mexican Limes in the gin infusion will keep the herbaceous mint bright and citric. Undoubtedly, this would have been Baudelaire’s favoruote summer drink.
